Geronimo Stilton is the publisher of The Rodent's Gazette, Mouse Island's most famouse newspaper. He is Rattus Emeritus of Mousomorphic Literature and Neo-Ratonic Comparative Philosophy. In his spare time, Mr. Stilton enjoys collecting antique cheese rinds, playing golf, and telling stories to his nephew Benjamin. He lives in New Mouse City, Mouse Island.

Geronimo Stilton is the pseudonym of Elisabetta Dami, also known as Thea Stilton. Dami is an Italian author that currently resides in Italy. She is the author of the Geronimo Stilton series. She enjoys traveling the world seeking ideas for her series. She is also a co-owner of Italian based publishing company Edizioni Piemme though her books have been translated into English by Scholastic.
